How we started

While planning my first child's Christening, I was on the search for favors. I was looking for something different from the general favors most guests discard shortly after the party; something special. After sorting through a few options, I had seen cookie favors that I thought were great. An edible favor that guests could enjoy, and not worry about what to do with after. 

Since I was on maternity leave, I had a little bit of free time and decided to embark on a cookie making adventure. With almost 10 years bakery experience behind me, and a Master's degree in the Arts, I figured it suited me and would be a fun experiment.

My fun experiment turned into many more experiments. Quickly turning into order requests, my "just for fun" experience had ventured into a quickly growing business. A business that was essentially born and grew at the same time as my first child; my "Cookie Baby"!
